Insert Style Tooling / Wide Material Choices

Real Seal injection molds sealing devices and mechanical component products in a large assortment of materials. We have developed extensive experience with thermoplastic urethanes, thermoplastic elastomer materials, as well as more rigid plastics such as polyacetal and polycarbonate resins. All our injection units are state of the art, with computer controlled mechanization and consistency, clamp tonnage from 28 to 220 tons, and a shot capacity of some 16 Oz. We have produced products that range in size from less than .050" to a diameter of 27", and have maintained customer tooling for more than 20 years in many cases.

We offer another element of control with tooling operations performed on site. Our tooling is typically insert style, retrofitted into an established system of bases, which creates a low cost of amortization for lower quantity (typically less than 1,000,000, based on geometry) requirements. With all these elements planned and executed under our control from start to finish, Real Seal can offer conformity with consistency - and do it quickly.
